PM Forklift Operator WANTED!

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator / Warehouse Storeperson to join a busy warehouse operation. This role is primarily focused on counterbalance forklift operation, working with oversized and long-length board products, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting warehouse operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term employment with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities



Safely operate a counterbalance forklift within the warehouse.



Load and unload trucks with palletised and wrapped freight.



Move long lengths of board and oversized ("ugly") freight throughout the warehouse.



Stack and retrieve materials from warehouse racking, including loads up to 6 metres high.



Manually load and unload products onto pallets and racking as required.



Perform visual quality inspections and report damaged stock.



Place picked products into automated wrapping machinery.



Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.



Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse team to achieve daily operational goals.

Shift Times



Monday: 3:00pm – 11:30pm



Tuesday – Thursday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm



Friday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Pay Rates



Day Shift: $39.23 per hour Casual

(Base Rate $31.38 + 25% Casual Loading)



Afternoon Shift: $43.93 per hour Casual

(Base Rate $31.38 + 15% Shift Loading + 25% Casual Loading)

About You



Current LF Forklift Licence.



Minimum 6 months' counterbalance forklift experience.



Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.



Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping.



Positive attitude and strong work ethic.



Team-oriented with good communication skills.



Physically capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 15kg when required.



Eager to learn and develop new skills.



Available for ongoing work and open to a temp-to-perm opportunity.

PPE Requirements

Applicants must have:



Safety steel-capped boots



Long work pants



Long-sleeved high-visibility shirt
